When thinking about fluffy, cute animals, we might imagine a kitty, a fox, or even a panda. There is, however, a breed of fluffy cows whose babies are as adorable and as heart-melting as other baby animals mentioned above—the Scottish Highland calf.
Let’s introduce the cutest cows, the Highland calves! This Scottish long-haired cow breed stands out from the rest because of its luxurious coats. The fine double fur consists of an oily outer layer—the longest of any cattle breed—and a downy undercoat.
This feature makes the Highland cow calf ideally suited to harsh weather conditions in Scotland, where heavy rains and strong winds are frequent. It also means that Scottish baby Highland cows are the cutest little moos ever!
