Custom Painted Vans- Pokemon - Sword & Shield

With the release of Pokemon Sword & Shield upon us, I wanted to celebrate the upcoming release a little differently. I have a Switch, the games pre-ordered, but I want to feel a little more special when I can finally play the game. And play it in style.

That's when I decided to paint myself a pair of custom Vans with a bunch of NEW unseen Pokemon.

It took me around 20 hours to paint, from start to finish and I am very happy with how they've turned out. I've never made a pair quite like them before.

I started designing shoes in 2013, after I accidentally got into the scene. A pair of white shoes, and dropping a sharpie marker on them, led me to deciding to try "correct" the blemish by drawing over it with a design. It was a mess, but everyone thought it was such a cool idea. I saw the opportunity and went for it.

Now 6 years later, I'm still going, my art has improved tremendously and I have no signs of stopping.
