Skai was born premature at only 24 weeks and weighed just over a single pound. Having no family to interact with her, five nurses from across the hospital volunteered to cuddle and nurture her. Thanks to these fairy godmothers, Skai is now a thriving 15 month old toddler. Her moms credit the volunteer cuddlers for helping to give her the start in life she needed.
