Bored Panda was named #1 Facebook page in 2017, and Crafty Panda became #1 page in 2020. This time, we are looking for a proactive, ambitious, and hard-working Creative Director (Animation).
You You Will Do:
- Work closely with the Producer, Project Manager, Product Owner and Supervisors of all
divisions to ensure all technical requirements of the animation project deliver outstanding
quality products; - Be the bridge between the Producer, Project Manager and the creative team to
transmit ideas and requirements into the production; - Be responsible for keeping everything in style with high consistency.
- Guide, supervise and review the work of creative teams;
- Be responsible for ensuring that the creative teams are working with the quota, quality,
budget and deadlines; - Create, develop, and build consensus between Technology, Artists, and Production
Management to assist the Director(s) to realize their vision; - Maintain effective communication between the Producer and the team, as well as
among team members; - Keep up on current technology trends and tools (hardware and software) that best suit
the production (and the company) in the development of a stronger creative technical
environment; - Work closely with the Producer, Project Manager and HR to expand the team and
working scope following each stage of production.
What We Expect:
- Experience as a creative director/creative supervisor;
- Demonstrated expertise in the following: animation, rigging, sketching and/or drawing
skill; - Demonstrated experience in kids’ animation production (children from 4 years old) would be consider as an advantage;
- Experience in building pipeline;
- Outstanding understanding of shape, composition, physical motion, weight and balance;
- Traditional animation basic knowledge. Capability in capturing and transmitting the
acting personality to the characters; - A good understanding of 2D computer graphics theory and practice is highly preferred.
3D animation skills will be taken into consideration; - Great knowledge of Storyboard Pro, Vectors, Illustrator, Photoshop, Moho, Premiere,
After Effect and Studio One Pro or similar softwares; - Advanced English;
- Excellent creative and technical communication skills;
- Excellent listening and problem-solving skills;
- Strong leadership skills.
