at least its not dirty toilet paper (or is it?)
We were flying to Bonaire, a little island off the coast of Venezuela. Took 12 hours to get there..we get to the airport (we were the only ones on the plane with our trunks of camera equipment for underwater filming. The plane landed and dropped us off, and off they went. NO ONE at the airport. We finally got two taxis, and they took us to our resort...and I am being charitable. It had been storming all day. The owner of the resort was so drunk he could not walk. He saw us and said "GO HOME--EVERYTHING IS LOST." Apparently the storm ripped the dock off the side of the sea cliff, so no shore diving. We were beyond pissed. We told him that we were here to work for a Canadian film company who always stayed here, and we were not moving. We went to ones of the casitas, which had about a foot of water in it. We always went prepared and got some mops and brooms and plastic for the windows. It was even worse than this photo. The next day we called our director and he was furious!
