I'm a composer based in San Francisco who previously worked with A.R. Rahman, just left my tech job to pursue music full-time, and am working on my debut album of original Hindi songs. I first seriously got into music during my college days when I joined Stanford Raagapella and started singing and arranging for the group. During my time at Stanford, I had the opportunity to meet A.R. Rahman, where he heard my voice and some of my compositions and invited me to work with him in India. I jumped at the dream of a lifetime and spent six months in Chennai working with him on a number of his soundtracks. It was a magical experience, and I loved every moment of it. But the techie within me suggested I pursue something more practical, and I chose a career in the digital music space, making music apps and audio hardware. It was an exciting way to bridge my love for music with technology. But while it was incredibly fun, it wasn't the same as making music. And after ten years in tech, I finally left my job to pursue my dreams as a singer and music composer. While every day has been an adventure, I wouldn't trade it for anything else. I'm working on two projects right now. One is an album of American pop covers with a Bollywood flare with some amazing singers that I know. The other is an original Hindi album of songs that I’ve written from life lessons that I’ve learned over the past two years. Follow me on Spotify, and thanks for being a part of my musical journey!
