I take away from this that the more cats that are added, the lighter and happier life becomes. It's science.

And I personally find them much more comfortable than pads or tampons. They cost more per piece, and of course you need a few to start with, but for me,it's absolutely worth it.

I switched to period panties a few years ago. It's WAY more maintenance and kinda grosser (you have to rinse out the panties if you aren't going to be immediately laundering them, vs just tossing a pad or tampon into the trash) but it's so much cheaper in the long run than buying boxes of pads or tampons. The panties are pricy, but you can use them over and over again. And I cannot even convey the peace of mind that they give overnight! No matter HOW I placed multiple pads, I always seemed to leak overnight - I had to sleep on towels. With the period panties, that's no longer a risk.

OP explained further (not that I understand all of the terms used): "Electrolyte shifts are immediate risks but mortality is related to burn shock and systemic capillary leak syndrome from the inflammatory storm. Loss of vascular integrity means fluid pours into the interstitium, causing severe hypovolemic shock, metabolic acidosis, and multi-organ failure at 48-72 hours."

For the curious, there's a type of cholesterol molecule in our skin that absorbs UV B radiation from sunlight and is converted to vitamin D through a step or two that I dont really understand after idly skimming a paper on it.

It's form of casino, pawn shop, farmacy, quick loans, fast food and funeral parlour.
And the worse thing is that yes, they do ki// us when we get pregnant, but that's not a big problem for forced birthers, at least they don't talk about it often....

At age 47 it finally occurred to me that I've been shaving my legs for society rather than myself. Gonna rock my hairy legs loud and proud!

This is what happens when manufacturers and stores only advertise their products on a very narrow range of body shapes and sizes. (It's not even just about weight, it's about proportions.)

That is actually one of my biggest fears--not being able to tell the difference between what's real and what isn't.

If you ever feel compelled to ask a depressed person, "What are you sad about?" please just sit on that thought for a very, very long time without speaking it out loud. It is understood that you perhaps mean well, but asking that question will help neither of you.

Too bad the Bored Panda sign cut out the last bit. I looked at the original and it is supposed to say "I found out lots of things about genome sequence."

For those that don't know (or care), the inscription on the "One Ring (TM)" reads: "Property of Sauron. If found please do not allow Hobbitses to wears it. Do not dispose of this ring in the fires of Mt. Doom. For a 7-day free trial please contact Saruman the White. T's & C's apply. Not suitable for elves, dwarves, or hot dudes named Aragorn. Sean Bean will d*e in this movie, too."

Little House and Highway to Heaven seem to be on permanent re-runs here in the UK.

Upvote for the Father Ted reference...and also because I was at the live filming of that episode. Some of the laughter you can hear after "small....far away" is mine.
