That is rich in hubris, One Jesuit, Anton Koniasch (1637) boasted that he had burned over 60,000 books. Thus the whole of Czech literature, art and the history of our civilization was overwhelmed with ruin, and ignorance as dark as midnight spread over the land. The Klementinum library, a beautiful example of Baroque architecture, was first opened in 1722 as part of the Jesuit university, and houses over 20,000 books. It was voted as one of the most beautiful and majestic libraries in the world by our readers. In research this destruction is the implacable brick. unmovable and impenetrable.

don't forget about other Prague library, in the Strahov Monastery, I think it's even more beautiful :)

:) And it even isn't the nicest library in Prague. http://www.360cities.net/gigapixel/strahov-library.html - library of Strahov Monastery :)
