When I was in elementary through middle school, there was this one guy who was notorious for being cruel to people. He would hit other students, call us slurs, steal their stuff, throw sand and other stuff into their eyes, and just generally be mean. However, in front of teachers, he was the golden boy. His grandmother was in charge of the school, so no matter how much we brought up these issues, no teacher wanted to discipline him. Finally, my friends and I had enough. For YEARS, from second grade to eighth grade, we compiled a notebook of every single offense he did. Every name call, every a*****t, was noted, dated, and signed by someone who witnessed it. We had almost a whole notebook filled out by graduation. The week our final spring semester came around, we presented the notebook to the school principal, and they were unable to deny what he had been doing. He got a 2 week suspension, ruining his perfect track record. One of my proudest moments
Ancient amputation practices because for some reason my 3rd grade teacher thought it was a smart idea to take my class to an old military hospital in st augustine and explain IN DETAIL how they amputated an arm. Including all of the tools and diagrams of the muscles and arms. I was traumatized
