Depression

It always feels like no one understands, and they expect that you can "just get over it" it doesn't work that way. and on top of depression, we deal with tremendous anxiety issues which make it a thousand times worse. Like I said talking about it is one of the most useful tools I have found. I admire your strength for reaching out and posting here. Comments have limited space so I wont ramble much more. Maybe trying to find a therapist that you feel comfortable with, in a safe environment may help. It may take a couple attempts, but don't give up. Being outside helps, although it's hard to even get out.. I like to work with plants and animals, NOT people! the day is less stressful. I hope any of this helps :-) Stay Strong and hold on to Hope. Depression

Hi Anna, It's really tough for sure. Family usually don't want to hear it. Physical activities/hobbies do help. Medications are tricky. I've been on several, They work for a while, your body gets used to them, and they need to be added to or changed. Talking (therapy) has been VERY helpful for me. I cry EVERY DAY and don't want to be here anymore either. You are certainly not alone. I have a great family, home, job, girlfriend, exotic sportscar, (I'm not wealthy btw)....I don't get why I still feel like hopeless impending doom. Plus,the world has become an out of control fast paced place with the tech advancements of the past 20 years, We (People)have made life harder than it's EVER had to be. Nothing is calm and peaceful anymore. the world needs to relax. Do what you can to get up, get outside, and make a positive choice for each day. It's HARD I know Try To Keep your head up, stay strong, and Know you're LOVED.
