Y’all. This is for trips. This is not their living situation. They live in NYC, their kids are happy and well adjusted, they aren’t living on welfare. The family moved cross country to support their children’s talents. These parents love their children. They are the good guys.
I think it's absurd people are getting so worked up about this. 1) It's not a permanent living situation, it's a cross country road trip of less than a week. 2) Didn't you people ever sleep on the floor as a kid? Sleepover at a friends? Living room campout? Actual camping? A sleeping bag,a pillow, and a bit of floor was all that was needed. As an adult, I'm a lot more princess and the pea and need a real bed, but as a kid it was fun.
