As a person working in industry I'll assure you that is LITERALLY our business. It is required and expected for more than one reason (detecting fraud, detecting money laundering, detecting other sale opportunities). If we refuse to or won't make it our business we better have another job lined up in another industry because words get around. EDIT: By being nosey my branch saved $385,000.00 worth of fraud scams money for seven senior citizens only this year so far. Just my branch, one out of many for the institution. Trust me those people were very grateful we talked to them when they finally realized they were victim of a scam. Had similar mind set like you before they realized though. I agree. Havent watched passed a lot of the new characters. They are trying to replicate some of the good things we felt about the original characters but it is becoming disingenous. They should quit and leave it at a high
