My son was diagnosed with autism 2 years ago. We started speech therapy and they wanted to teach him communication from pictures. I’m not the type to ask for help but I needed it. I needed two ppl to help teach him my husband worked 7am-7pm 6 days a week sometimes. So I asked her to stop by after work for 15 mins at least once a week since it was on the way home for her. Never stopped. The family was having a party at my sister in laws. Failed to tell us pool was open so every other kid except ours were in so my son was throwing a fit. Was trying to show her his book and explain how important it was. Completely brushed me off so I me and my son walked home. I had to resort to my 5 yr old helping me teach him to communicate. Now for two years she says I have post pardem depression because I don’t want to go to any family events anymore.
