After watching this incredible video by Reece Daniels, (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qso39oQc5-g&list=WL&index=3) I’ve realized just how much social media and forums affect me. That includes Bored Panda. I love the support I can find here, but at the same time, it’s difficult sometimes to explain my opinions or be a Christian in a world of so much misunderstandings and hard experiences. It also has affected my mental health in a negative way, as I regret spending so much time online and not outside or developing my hobbies. I encourage us all to take breaks from social media or quit altogether; regardless of what we may think, it’s possible to be as or more social without spending the majority of our time interacting through technology (a point Reece touched on and explained very thoroughly). In any case, I’m going to miss you lovable dorks and the friends I made while I was here. I might come back in a year or two; who knows, and I might comment from time to time as it’s hard to completely quit something that has hooked me for so long. You guys are all incredible and I hope you’re able to find beauty, joy, and happiness in all aspects of your lives.
