Maybe doctors should stop telling women what they're experiencing is normal or it's just because of weight. It once took me a year of being in screaming pain every day, two 911 calls on myself and one doctor telling me to go to mental health before any doctor agreed to even run tests! Turns out I'd been having complications from a uterine ablation I'd had years before and I required a hysterectomy. That's a year of my life I'll never get back. So, yes, now I look stuff up, go in with a few ideas and will definitely question something when I'm told it's "normal". I'm not a doctor but I know what normal feels like and I know when something is wrong.
No, my trust in doctors died after I realized they will never take you seriously. They just blame everything on the fact that I'm a woman, tell me I need to lose weight and send me on my way. I dread having to go into a doctor's office.

To some extent, the internet is a blessing. It gives people who are not listened to by doctors a way to communicate and to research our problems so that we can put real evidence in front of those who are unwilling to help us. It gives those with rare conditions a chance to research the latest treatments. It means that when I have an unusual symptom I can check if this is something that other people have experienced who share a condition/medication with me.

A lot of people didn't. Hence the 50% mortality rate for children under 5.

Hahahahaha! Perfect. I love it.

A negligent discharge (ND) on full auto while cleaning their rifle in the shacks (I'm military). Fortunately they were blank rounds. Could have been SO much worse.

This person needs to get some perspective

Too true. It's like worrying about obesity when you're starving. Or worrying about learning difficulties when there's no school to go to. Or worrying about degeneration in old age when you're not going to live that long.

They're trying so hard to give them a graceful exit and sadly it's failing

Scientology ruins families. Her older two kids want nothing to do with her because she left. They are brainwashed. I don't blame her for not mentioning them.

They aren't interested in s e xting and are trying to give you an out. Take it! Lol

Locking your doors only gives you a false sense of security because if someone wants in all they really have to do is ring the doorbell. I'd say the majority of people just swing their doors open whether they know who's there or not.
