(FWIW, I have a couple friends who split up for school, and ended up reconnecting after, and are still happily married. But they had that chance to grow up and become amazing people without the limitations of a relationship at that time. OTOH, a bunch of my cousins married high school sweethearts, and the few that are still married are... how shall we say, not really living their best lives.)

Thank you for your advice! We have both decided and agreed that school is going to be our number one priority. I also told him that training for my college running career (cross country and track) is going to be my second priority. We both also understand that we are going to have our own lives and friends when we are separated. I feel like we have a mature outlook on the whole situation, but like you said we are just kids :)
