Good job, you. I’m not sure I would be able to do that, because I would be so insistent on keeping the child because my stubborn brain would think that I would be capable of taking care of them. Then that child would grow up with a parent who lacked love for them, which isn’t the best for a child’s mental health.

Admitting your short comings as a potential parent is hard. Better your child is with people who want and love it. I understand and respect that you looked in the mirror and said, "I will fail if I do this and ruin 2 lives, the baby's and mine". I must respect that kind of truth.
