Had a similar experience with my kid. I'm Latino, but pretty light skinned. My son's mom is Black. I was at the playground with him, and he was 2. I was taking pictures of him walking around when the police show up. They told me somebody called to report a man taking photos of children on the playground. I showed the cops my camera, and they scrolled through the photos and saw they were all pictures of my son. And there were photos of me with him and his mom. That was pretty much the end of it though.

Losing weight requires lifestyle changes and can take a very long time. The body positivity movement promotes acceptance of those of us who are less than magazine-approved. This positive attitude is essential to overcoming fatness. It’s long past time for people to stop criticizing others' appearance. Criticism makes the problem worse.
