Yes, this is a translation error. It should read "eating on rug strictly prohibited". Because many people in India just sit down on the floors in their homes to eat, ie: without table and chairs. So the airport wants to make sure noone does it there.

Yeeeeeah. You're way off. There are literally documentaries of doctors being prosecuted or big pharma corporations facing lawsuits because they were pushing the drugs and authorizing prescriptions irresponsibly to stoke the addiction and make money. Just stop with the delusion. And stop calling them "the addicts" they are people and, a lot of the ones in the group you're referring to ARE in real physical pain and that was preyed upon. Try "Poisoned" on Hulu and "The Crime of the Century on HBO" for starters. And don't be so easily angered by things you have no understanding about

In international politics countries are often referred to as states, nations, or nation-states. The US actually doesn't use the traditional proper definition of the word state. State is supposed to refer to independent governments which, by the nature of having a federal government, US states are not.
