Instead of being reminded that you are mentally ill, remember that you are human, which means not perfect. I don't know you, but I don't have to know you to understand the pain your words communicate. You are too hard on yourself. Being human means existing on a spectrum of personalities and mental conditions, which means you are not alone. There are billions of us out there, many of whom go through what you go through each day. Mentally ill and normal and everything else are irrelevant. You are you. Labels do not define you anymore than the medications you take, or anything else. Your life, your reality, this experience, all of it belongs to you and you can make of it anything you want. Don't be confused, I am rarely pc and definitely not sjw. If this message borders on the woo woo, it's because this is more than what we think it is. And you do matter...more than even your children because if you are not well, how can they be? Remember that and then fight for your sanity. You can win.

Me too! Although in my case, I use the words 'I have a mental illness'. It came on recently and with treatment I could very well recover. But I have to keep on those meds, regardless of what I think on those days when I'm not quite grounded in reality. Thank you and keep up the good work. It's a tough place to be.
