Berserk reference.

I'm Polish and I've never heard of the illustrated superstition, neither do my Polish friends from across the country. It isn't common in Poland.

I found out, probably later in life than I should, that if relatives are toxic you need to get them out of your life.

A meeting for...what? Discuss "conversion therapy"? It is so sad that for quite a few people love is not what matters most.

And the girl's hairstyle... I've never seen someone on the street with buns like this. Even in kindergarten... but who knows, maybe I live in another Poland.

Not all women can/want to use birth control pills. In the case of some health issues/diseases/beliefs it is impossible. Besides, hormonal contraception has many cons. For example, it increases the risk of thrombosis, which may eventually lead to pulmonary embolism or a stroke.

Excuse me for typos. I'm sorry it irritated you so much that you felt compelled to use insults. Yes, I'm non-native English user. My phone is partially guilty, because it decided to download updates and install them while I was posting (which is why the post is messed up). I'm new here, I did not know if I could edit my message once it was uploaded. I am sorry that I have aroused negative emotions - it was unintended. I have rodents (now chinchillas; used to have mice and rats), I study them and I felt it would be right (with my knowledge and beliefs) to stand against something which may be harmful to those pets.

The key words are "exercise" and "fun". Rodents do not like to be encapsulated. Inside the ball, they do not decide for how long they want to stay inside - it's only up to the owner's will - so there is no voluntary aspect of this "exercise". Running wheels & discs are good, because animal can use them spontaneously. The animal has constant oxygen access (so the risk of a heatstroke in a properly ventilated room is small (rodents are prone to overheating) & an animal can stop running at any time. In the running ball animal can't receive stimuli from the outside, it can't navigate easily. The faster it runs, trying to get out, the faster the ball rolls - it may hit something causing animal injury. Finally, from a physiological point of view: since when good fun causes an increase in cortisol levels? Last - and disgusting - in those balls (torture devices tbh) animal often runs in its own feces. Would you be having fun rolling in urine?

I know this is a joke but honestly...I'm just so annoyed when people expect that I make decisions about my boyfriends free time (or anything similar for that matter). Lately, he's been trying to stop smoking and so many people just assumed that he's doing it because I'm making him to. Like - no, it's his smoking, his decision, he's an adult with a free will. I'm his partner, not his mother.
