I don't think you should mix everything up, you're not helping the cause. I am French and African. You can be happy about baguettes and croissants without being a racist, for god sake...I was in France in the 90s, we've come a long way since, let's rejoice on that and keep on fighting discriminations. For someone who's been involved in anti racism for 20 years, I suggest you don't spread the lie about the 'nothing to see, keep moving', it is simply not true in 2025.
Not trying to diminish the story. I think it's important to set out the context, as these stories of abuse with colonialist or racist undertone are still existing today, some of which many turn a blind eye on (hello Qatar). Ironically enough 1994 was the inaugural year of a massive exhibition on the Slavery trade in the nearby city of Nantes....

I agree, but Swifties are going to double down and make excuses for her just like Trump supporters do even though they know it's wrong.
I really hope you don't expect Lufthansa to live up to that standard nowadays. For a short-haul flight, you will get nothing but a small water and a piece of chocolate.
