But you can see how much wrap there is before you buy it.

The fact they both got up out of the booth immediately makes the 🙶almost fatal🙷 injuries wording laughable as it says in the Highlights.

Not exactly. Netflix didn't start streaming until 2007. They had already started closing stores starting in 2005 because of Netflix's popularity. Where Blockbuster failed was implementing their own movies-by-mail service which by its very design meant people never needed to step into a Blockbuster again. They realized that because they decided to let customers bring the mailers into the store (we'd release them of the burden of mailing them themselves) to exchange for more free movies. So the slower stores, like mine, saw their rental revenue dry up fast. The thought process was (or lack of) was customers would spend money on candy, popcorn, sodas & the for sale movies. Naturally they did not.

I always wondered how the assistant coped. She was RIGHT there, but of course she thought what everyone else did, it was part of the act. Sure she herself couldn't have done anything, aside from alerting someone sooner, although he very likely still would have died.

All these comments are two years old. Bored Panda literally just reposted something from years ago comments and all ?

Just throwing this out there but, perhaps the people who responded with the fringe belief 🙶it's a hoax🙷 were doing so due to people stating flatly 🙶it kills🙷. Well, Yes it CAN k**l, but there are plenty of people who got Covid & were fine. So they saw people getting it, & not dying, so they didn't take the people shouting imminent death seriously.

Very weird she doesn't understand that, aside from documentaries all movies are make believe & not real. Films 'based on true stories' are still enhanced to make them better stories. Even documentaries are often one sided so aren't exactly the unvarnished complete truth sometimes. My response after being equally taken aback by that "belief" would be to tell her it's an animated kids' movie so none of it is real.

I remember seeing a headline when she died that said Swiss Singer & was taken aback, but remembered that she gave up her American citizenship.
