I think the reason they say that is statistically most addicts do not recover or continue to have the urge to use and every day is a matter of willpower not to use again. It can be very hard to discover and treat the underlying problem which caused the addiction in the first place.

Yeah, I've seen hundreds of codes. Primary asystole was very rare. Though I will say that it seemed like a shockingly number of early covid codes were asystole.
