I think the simple solution to the Air B&Fee is to require the total price, including all fees be included in their nightly advertised price and that all rules be posted and available before you book a place. And make a requirement that photos of the property as it will be when rented are available as well. No more surprises. If you are perusing the listings and see a $480/night, you just pass. If you fail to check the rules and then book, no whining. I have a feeling that all these bad listing would go away if this were the case.
