Doesn't hurt that this happened in California, where there's no "stand your ground" law.
So, here's the deal, which you, and quite a few people don't seem to have a good grasp on. Because "Bear Spray" is so dangerous... it does NOT have any justification to be used on ANYONE regardless of whatever justification you try to come up with. Meaning, it doesn't matter what the older man said, or did... the girls, in every case, will automatically be in the wrong here. Especially because he had his back to them when she sprayed him. This happened in California, you may use reasonable force to defend yourself, others, or your property against imminent threats. However, the moment someone turns their back to you and walks away... they're no longer an imminent threat.

Nope. I even read all the Reddit comments and I have not a clue what is supposed to be going on here. You comment has not helped either.
she assaulted him. he was an a*s and was talking agressively, however it looked he was also leaving and I think she wanted to use that bear spray. they could have a called a police report from where they were, instead they left quickly

If memory serves, Water Buffalo aren't considered cows, even though technically, they're in the same species. I remember reading somewhere that any time you see "beef" listed in India, it's water buffalo.

There is no way he threatened the person in the white car. He'd have to smash his way in.
Funny that even though all we see and read is their side of the story, there doesn't seem to be any trace of a justification.

You got the whole drink. Remember drinks are mixed based on specific volumes of alcohol. If however the bartender miscounts, or uses too much, you're not out anything. Your glass was filled, you got what you paid for. The rest is normally just poured down the drain. Your argument is like buying four feet of wood, and when they cut it, there's a foot left over, and you trying to argue "That's mine too!"

As another person said: At the beginning though when the bartender added those 3 ingredients, their count was off (we count while we pour. For a martini it would've been about an 6sec (of each alcohol) pour. The bartender counted too slow on accident- in turn making 1 drink and an additional half/ 3rd (for example) of another. That part of a drink often times just gets dumped but some bartenders will pour it (cant sale it since its only a little) and give it to a regular, the owner or maybe that initial customer. But it was never the initial persons partial drink
