When a fantasy character has to be created or when an actor has to play his older self in the same movie, I get it that make-up is really important - and the shown results here are outstanding. But sometimes it seems that better someone else should have been casted. Like Nicole Kidman in Destroyer and Margot Robbie (both in the extended series). Why change someone into another someone? Looks like art for arts sake.

Great work, Stephen!

I’ve seen the new Lion King yesterday, full screen at the cinema. The CGI is very impressive. But sticking so closely to actual animals and their limited abilities to express feelings and moods, their facial expressions do not match their voices. And that, in my opinion, is a missed opportunity. Without becoming the animated characters again, CGI offers the ability to enhance reality. If you let ‘real’ animals talk like humans, then give them also the more suitable expressions. It would make the end result even a better movie.

This is great, but the first tweet in "people loved the unique concept" starts with "I find this annoying" XD

Proud of my hometown Utrecht. We have more mural paintings. One that I’m particularly fond of is in Vogelenbuurt, Adelaarsstraat. Very well done: from one point of view it fits exactly in the row of houses, you wouldn’t even notice it in a photo. Here’s a photo from a slightly different angle. https://static.boredpanda.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/Muurschildering_Vogelenbuurt-5cb084fdba983.jpg

Beautiful couple and great artist. Visit his website to see more of his work. Quite impressive. Keep surprising us with your comics, Yehuda!

Nice pics. But they hardly prove the point that it’s all about skills. Shops like Lowes are styled too. Lots of places to find there that are decorated to seduce buyers to make their houses more beautiful. Off course putting a beauty in front of that works. Could have guessed that without seeing or trying it. However, if he would try his at a technical shop for electronic parts e.g. or a food discounter, there would be a challenge.
