Live in the UK with my SO and non-binary 11yo. a huge ally of the LGBTQIA community. I have two siblings that are gay and my kid has recently come out as non-binary. I am always learning about how I can support my family and the community in any way possible.

Yep, my dad was my first heartbreak. The day I head him telling my mum I was too fat and would never find a husband if didn't get off my fat a*s, was the day our relationship broke. I then later found out he was a convicted sex offender when I tried to foster (with the husband, I'd never find because I was too fat). We went NC after I'd heard him tell 5 different stories about how he got the conviction and found out the truth from the Social Worker who was working with us.

My mate jumped in to the middle of a pool whilst drunk, neither shallow or deep, but ended up breaking his neck and was in a wheelchair for the rest of his short life. He was in his late twenties and ended up choking on some food, a problem he had developed after the accident. He was a great guy that made a terrible mistake one night and we all really miss him.
