Live in the UK with my SO and non-binary 11yo. a huge ally of the LGBTQIA community. I have two siblings that are gay and my kid has recently come out as non-binary. I am always learning about how I can support my family and the community in any way possible.

this, my boss doesn't understand why I don't want to take on project work anymore. I don't get paid extra for it, so no thanks. I'll save that extra time for my family.

Yep, my dad was my first heartbreak. The day I head him telling my mum I was too fat and would never find a husband if didn't get off my fat a*s, was the day our relationship broke. I then later found out he was a convicted sex offender when I tried to foster (with the husband, I'd never find because I was too fat). We went NC after I'd heard him tell 5 different stories about how he got the conviction and found out the truth from the Social Worker who was working with us.
Maybe you don't understand why some people walk slowly. Some can't actually help it, have some compassion.
