If you think procreation should be treated as an individual choice, and not a societal good, you should look into the negative economic consequences of falling birthrates. Who do you suppose will pay taxes, fill the workforce, serve in the military, and buy things in 20 years' time? Women, by definition of our gender, are tasked with this work of the very sustainability of our society. It's also worth noting that most women don't "decide" to keep working. Women are the sole or primary breadwinners in 40% of American families. Women make up 2/3 of the low-wage workforce in America. We are a major part of this country's, and our families' economic engines. As far as your comment that "no one cares," this series has 48,000 views on Bored Panda alone, and has appeared - spontaneously - on major U.S. websites and on websites in places as diverse as Spain, Lithuania, and Russia.
