“By Far, We Are Doomed”: Many Educators Are Worried About Gen Alpha’s Horrific Behavior

I had a student throw a chair at my head and several other objects from his backpack at my other students because I had the "audacity" to give him a 0 for not turning in his quiz. His parents sent my admins nasty emails about how I was an awful teacher for failing him, and refused to understand that I was NOT going to grade work I never received just to make their kid feel special. This kid KNEW that I would go out of my way to help anyone in my class if they were struggling, and that I cared way more about effort versus the right answers. I don't teach anymore. And I'm much, much happier.
