Hello, my name is Iris Compiet and I'm an artist from the Netherlands. Creating a ‘sense of wonder’ is at the core of my work. Storytelling is an essential part. I strive to lure in the spectator, to make them feel a connection to the work and open a gateway to their imagination to ignite it even further. Drawing inspiration from European folklore, myths, fairytales, ghost stories and more. I explore the depths of darkness to find the light.

These are all SO awesome and beautiful! You should write a book that features all of them, I bet it would be pretty interesting! I know I'd read it

Thank you Sergi, glad you like them. They're all part of my world the Faultlines, it's a book I'm going to make with help from people backing it on Kickstarter, the link is in the article
