It's gorgeous. The article says the cabinet's artistry isn't based in any style, yet there's a strong Art Nouveau iinfluence in the use of plants and animals. Here, they're used with very simple up and down patterns, but in Nouveau there would be more looping and intersecting (sometimes centered, sometimes off center.
It is like something out of 'The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe'. This is indeed a work of art.
