I'm not confident about this and please correct me if I'm wrong. I think in preschool or kindergarten, they teach kids how to read and write and everything too early. That time should have been used for teaching the kids how to sit down and listen to the teacher or have good manners (sharing, listening, behaving). Other reasons can be like how the parents change. There are so many kids with family problems like divorce and things like that and that may also impact how the kids will be when they actually enter school and begin learning.
