I haven't been doing these in English for very long but I can assure you that my husband (who does just as much around the house and with the kids as I do) appears a lot in my French books 😊 However I can only describe what I see him do and say and not his personal point of view since I am not him. I just like to draw my own experience
Hopefully when my kids are teens I'll still be drawing and then I can make some comics about teenagehood! I don't have the experience yet

She made comics about her own experiences. If you want ones about you, make them yourself.
It's not sexist because it is not this woman's responsibility to represent fatherhood. She's illustrating HER experiences, like a comic diary. Though I agree, seeing the same motherhood comics over & over is getting pretty damn old. No issue with people making them, but do we really need another BP article on it?
