Those are all great trail and lookouts but they are a bit higher in the activity level!

We are full time adventurers because we travel full time :) not an ad!

My preferred alternatives (moderate hikes, better views) in that area: Emerald Basin trail, above the lake, underneath a ring of mountains; Opal Hills overlooking Maligne Lake; the Tea House of the Five Glaciers over Lake Louise; Lake Helen trail in Banff; Willcox Pass over the Icefields Centre; and, the Stanley Glacier hike in Kootenay Park with a Parks Canada guide to look at Burgess Shale fossils. There's also a great trail connecting Lake Louise with Moraine Lake via Larch Valley, but you have to check the grizzly sightings beforehand. [Edit to add: with the recent rockslide at Bow Glacier Falls, always check ground conditions too.]
