This is a very simplistic and old fashioned view of hereditary traits. My parents eyes are blue, my siblings eyes are all blue but my eyes are hazel. Have done DNA am definitely my parents child.

Lol this definitely isn't a UK thing! Generally our houses are tiny and most of the rooms used constantly. Lots of people here starting out will have second hand furniture gifted to them from friends and family. Certainly how we started out when we had our first home.

Hi Manowce I will totally give Max a high-five from you. We have been ridiculously lucky and I know others haven't been so lucky. My son Max is amazing, heya real fighter. I am particularly blessed and I hope that other people in the same circumstances will be, which is why I wish these guys with their 24 week baby the best. Life is precious but I do totally understand how hard it can be. I was a single mum at the time and worked full time. It was amazingly hard but I don't regret a moment of it. I love my son, he's amazing and incredibly brave. Take care

Thank you Luisa. I rarely ever share this but this post made me want to share. I'm so lucky to be able to do this, I've seen so many sad stories in real life, but am lucky to have always been able to have hope and my boy is amazing - I'll never forget how lucky we are.
