Gina Brake was born in Brooklyn New York. Being raised here, she grew up looking and learning things about the city. Her grandparents lived in the Park Slope Historic District of Brooklyn and as far back as she can remember, she was obsessed with the brownstones and architecture of the structures around their house. This lead into the love of NYC and photography for her
