No we’re not!! I’m 68 and was spanked as a child and remember how horrible that was so never ever spanked my own children. Thankfully in my country spanking of a child was outlawed many many years ago. People who decided to ignore this law and spanked their child have been prosecuted for assaulting their own children which has reinforced it. The parents. Not old people! To try and pin child abuse on older people is just awful, it’s ageist! I think you are also out of touch with reality if this is what you chose to believe. Btw I would never have let my child go to ANYONE who I thought might abuse them this way, so there’s fault with the parents here too.
