Don't know why you're being downvoted. What you've said is spot on. But people don't like having their flaws pointed out. So, I suspect those are the downvoters. This is really about treating your kids like they're their own people, not merely an extension of the parent. And no one wants to hear that. They confuse that with being poorly mannered. Which it isn't. And I absolutely agree. You don't have time for kids, don't have them. Science is very advanced, and very few people can't really prevent pregnancies.
