I agree-the minimum wage should match inflation but it’s still minimum wage. It’s funny people complaining about how they can’t live on minimum wage-they don’t know how to budget! We’ve never earned more than minimum wage and we have 4 kids expecting our 5th. We manage what we earn and manage it well-our mortgage will be paid off in the next year or so-and we are 34 and 35. We just follow Dave Ramsey’s advice and it works! It’s the ONLY way to manage money and it works regardless of income level. We are doing far better and enjoying life more than most people we know with higher incomes who are trapped in their jobs until they get old while they complain about all their debts and how they don’t have “enough” money. Our family is bigger, we earn less and it’s enough for us! Socialism is evil-this has been proven in history. You don’t want to depend on the gvt-ask anyone who has actually lived it. You need to learn to use money the right way instead of whining m about being “poor”
