I think they're really cool! And they're just fake decorations; they might spook people the first time but it's honestly good for little kids to learn not to be scared.

It cost 5.7 million dollars, so...
No one 'needs' a house this big. But if you can afford it, and want it, why not? Doesn't it sound nice to have a pool and a tennis court? Nobody 'needs' a fancy restaurant meal, you can survive just fine on cheap store bought meals, but if you want and can afford it, it's nice to get.
