i sobbed watching the documentary. the world united for those boys.

I read about this. the majority of the survivors were catholic and were strongly against eating the already dead. Some refused outright and starved to death and others were extremely distraught about it. When they got rescued the pope at the time pardoned them due to extreme circumstance. hopefully gave them some peace of mind.

the kid can come and I'll help it but if it's a good parent they should know the best thing they can do for their kid is to stay away if they're sick. give parent help from a distance until they get better or die. if so much of the world is dead what is there to live for besides helping others

"whatever means possible" just put your hand over its mouth or something no need to do anything drastic

I feel like it depends on the topic. When I want to learn a new crochet stitch or method, I turn to tiktok because I can watch several quick, focused videos of different people doing the same thing and I can synthesize all of that different information and figure out which demonstration makes the most sense to me, instead of having to try and replicate written instructions with my hands or having to navigate through a youtube video's introduction, sponserships, and ads to try and find the 30 seconds of the video I actually need to see. But for facts and knowledge, I always put the effort into the research.
