Just to be clear – this entry did not win a prize in CVCE Mountain Photo 2021 – it is included here only as a sample of the author's work.

A long exposure, with camera on a tripod and high ISO setting helps of course, but a full moon is enough to see by in open bushland. Sometimes it's easier hiking at night without a torch, as you can see further. Clear air and clear skies great for stars. Sometimes the starlight, without moon, is enough to see by!
