I am a Street Artist and author from Bristol who is generally motivated by a sense of political or social injustice and the need to inform or remind the public about these important issues, perhaps keeping up the pressure on the authorities. I am constantly scanning the newspapers and social media for stories. Often you have to react very quickly as there is no point in putting the art out two weeks after the story was first aired. A week in politics can be a very long time, politicians can quickly make u-turns and the public can get distracted by something unimportant, so it has to be quick, fast and effective.
