Thank you so much! At the scale of globes it would be an extreme exaggeration to have 3d mountain ranges so we have never been that into the idea too much. We choose to paint and shade and add cartography detail about mountains. Also you would lose the old art of hand making in that process. Globes never were really used for navigation or getting from one street to the other.. they have always been more of an object of beauty.. something that inspires people to travel and learn more about the world as a whole. Plus.. maps are all distorted (wrong) and globes are the only true reflection of how the continents look so they are important for people of all ages to see and understand.
