Little Miss Hobbit is not a hobbit. She is actually three owls in a trench coat that like to smoke Ol' Toby, drink ale and watch fireworks. The reason she is on Bored Panda is because she likes talking to people about Jesus and mental health and encouraging all the other weary little Hobbits of the world to keep trudging on. Have courage, dear hearts.

I'm sure she did everything to make sure the baby was safe.

I think people who hate on this are shameful. This is a huge step for OP and her husband and for the child coming into their lives. The celebration is just as much about them taking the step to become parents as it is about the child. LET THEM CELEBRATE!!! They are not taking joy from anyone by celebrating. It doesn't demean the role of biological parents in any way.
What are you saying exactly? A baby shower IS for baby gifts. YES you got it. So why not for foster babies?
