Since surgical masks are in shortage here in Czech and Slovakia, people started making their own from cotton. I also have multiples to match to my outfits. Its actually nice to see somebody who could have FFP3 not to wear one and have a cloth mask like the rest of the nation. Czech officials ALL have FFP3 while even doctors in hopsitals cant have them. In the cultural context its actually a nice statement.

Im am Czech and as I was walking through Prague old town with my Greek friends who were visiting, talking in English about the architecture and food.... and my dog, small pug mix, decides to poop. So im standing there, looking for a poop bag in my purse, telling my friends to wait a minute and a Czech family of four with little kids walks around us and the kids comment about the dog poo. And the dad goes, standind right next to me" "you are right, it IS a big sausage for such a little dog!" And I just shoot him the weirdest look and we locked eyes and I think he knew at that moment that I spoke Czech and they left super quick.

jewelry... jewelry everywhere! I would let my rad-tech redo every single one of them (not that they would present me these in the first place)

Its just a little shrine, there are many types scattered around the Czech countryside. They can mark crossroads or important landmarks or even places where somebody died. They are mostly used for orientation for hikers now.
