I love writing, drawing, traveling, and taking far too many pictures of my two spoiled cats. Please keep an eye out for my first YA Novel, Shard, which will be released Spring 2021. You can check it out at www.ampierre.com :-)

After Being Returned Twice, This Remarkable Cat Finally Found The Perfect Family
After Being Returned Twice, This Remarkable Cat Finally Found The Perfect Family

My sweet little girl was returned to the shelter 3 times before I got her. Still don't know who couldn't love that cuddle bundle of fluff. I had to put her to sleep last week (cancer), and literally one of the last things I said to her was "I'm so glad those other idiots gave you up so that you could spend your life with me."

19 Fatal TikTok Challenges That Went Too Far And Ended In Real Tragedies
19 Fatal TikTok Challenges That Went Too Far And Ended In Real Tragedies

Anne Reardon did a great video on her YouTube Channel explaining why this was so incredibly dangerous. Basically, the homemade machines raise the voltage but also remove every safeguard. It's so much juice that, even if your hands are protected, brushing your arm against the table could send enough electricity through your body that you're dead before you hit the floor.

“It’s Been Really Difficult”: Olympian Opens Up After Walmart Incident Ruined Her Career

I don't see here where the items were worth $67. Has the article changed? All I see is where she paid for other items she was buying at the same time, which cost $167

If I recall correctly, the penalty was a fine only if the baby was born prematurely but both mother and child lived. If the mother OR baby died (i.e, a miscarriage), the man who did it would be executed.

30 Times Doctors Crossed Boundaries And Blurted Out The Most Weird Things To Patients
30 Times Doctors Crossed Boundaries And Blurted Out The Most Weird Things To Patients

I had a similar experience, but because of celiac disease. Every single solitary doctor assumed I was lying when I told them how little I was eating and how much I was exercising while still gaining weight. It's awful.

After Woman Refuses To Switch Seats, Mid-Air “Mass Brawl” Forces Emergency Landing
After Woman Refuses To Switch Seats, Mid-Air “Mass Brawl” Forces Emergency Landing

I really don't understand all these "Person asks to swap seats, other person says no, first person is furious" stories. Like, if it's so insanely important that you be in a specific seat, why didn't you book that seat in the first place? Or, better yet, if the seat wasn't available, not pitch a hissy when you don't get your way?

Speaking from personal experience here, don't feel bad if you decide to have her in hospice care instead of at your home. People can be judgy, but death (especially with cancer) is... not what it looks like in the movies, where everyone gathers around the bedside and says goodbye. It is often slow and horrific and traumatic. Several people in my family are still dealing with PTSD, extreme anxiety, and related issues due to caring for 2 of our family members during slow home deaths, and it's been 4 and 7 years now.
