Born in the town of Spencer in the state of Massachusetts, on the 10th of October in 1942. Soviet soldiers were finally turning back the Nazis at Stalingrad as I was struggling to right myself in the birth canal. The doctor, who always played cards on Friday nights until dawn, was hungover and in no mood for a fight. So out came the deep forceps and I ended up with a couple of craters in my skull that didn't subside for six months. Both WWII and my entrance on the stage had drama and a happy ending.
