Come to Romania and see for yourself! These incredible rock formations can fool you and make a good point for an incredible story! Are they the last of the world lost dinosaur's eggs or some of the universal extraterrestrial debris? None. They are just some compact mass of matter formed by the precipitation of mineral cement within the spaces between particles. They can be found in sedimentary rock or soil ... and trust me ... that is a great view when you meet them. People are keeping them in front of their houses in some Romanian villages. Sometimes they call them the "living stones". There is also a Nature Reserve dedicated to these stones, a Museum in Valcea County (Muzeul Trovantilor). A great gift from our mother nature. Enjoy.
